The maison André Boyer, Master Nougatier since 1887, develops with respect for the original recipes, white and black nougat, macaroons, spelt biscuits, calissons, marshmallows...A handcrafted production labelled as Living Heritage Company.
Description
The Maison André Boyer de Sault is one of the oldest companies in the Vaucluse, founded in 1887 by Ernest Boyer, Master Nougatier in Sault. Its artisanal factory has been awarded the Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant (Living Heritage Company) label. You will discover its confectionery, its ice creams as well as a tea room.
The authentic Nougat de Sault is made in the traditional way from carefully selected products: lavender honey harvested on the slopes of Mont Ventoux, regional almonds. The white nougat, unctuous, puffed and very tender, and the black nougat, delicately caramelised, are two sweets whose taste qualities have not changed for more than a century and which have made the house so renowned.
