Unmissable : Montbrun-les-Bains, amongst the hundred listed most attractive French villages : old village, ruins of the medieval castle, hydro resort. Buis-les-Baronnies : old town, door of the former Ursuline chapel, ‘digue’ esplanade, olive oil mills, ‘Maison et jardin des plantes’), Gorges d’Ubrieux, Gorges du Toulourenc, the remarkable roads between la Penne-sur-l’Ouvèze and Reilhanette, between Montbrun-les-Bains and the Col d’Aulan and, finally, between Eygalayes and Ruissas, Aulan and its castle. Ferrassières (southernmost commune in the Rhône-Alpes region): fields of lavander (in flower from early July to early August).

The + of this circuit : thermal resort of de Montbrun-les-Bains (spa with view over the Mont Ventoux). St Auban-sur-l’Ouvèze, old hilltop village and Barret-de-Lioure, a village built on a rocky promontory.
