10:00am: Guided tour of Olives and Wines cooperative "Vignolis", in Nyons
Let's taste the AOC black olive of Nyons! Guided tour of the mill and canning, free visit of the museum and tapenade, olive oil and olive tasting.
12:00: Lunch at a restaurant.
2:30pm: Guided tour of "La Scourtinerie", in Nyons
Established in 1882, this factory makes "scourtin", a provençal word for filter of olive oil made with coconut fibre. Nowadays, we can visit the old workshop where they still produce "scourtin" for olive and wine industries, and also decoration, coloured carpets and tablemats.
