Description

For the past 30 years, Christophe Poiré has travelled the vineyards of France and elsewhere. He graduated from the Institut Universitaire de la Vigne et du Vin in Dijon in 2003. In 2020, he obtained the WSET (Wine & Spirit Education Trust) level 2 in spirits and the WSET level 3 in world wine. He is currently preparing for the Diploma and gives courses in oenology and tasting in Buis-les-Baronnies, Lyon and at the University of Lorraine.
Christophe organises tastings of regional, French and/or world wines at the Hameau de la Savouillane, at your place of work or at home.
All the wines offered at the cellar are organic and biodynamic and are selected at the property by Christophe. A range of spirits completes the wine offer. Christophe approaches the practice of wine tasting through the knowledge of the terroirs. The cellar is located in the Hameau de la Savouillane in an old stone silkworm farm. The business also offers bed and breakfast accommodation and a table d'hôtes.
