The Types of lavender in our area
Sea lavender
Elle est considérée comme une plante ornementale et se trouve tout particulièrement en Ardèche.
Decorative plant mostly cultivated in Ardèche.
Fine lavender
Avec ses feuilles étroites, elle se trouve à partir de 500 mètres d’altitude et fleurie à la fin juin et au début de juillet.
Narrow leaves, come into flower from late June to early July, above 500 meters high.
Aspic lavender
Elle se trouve entre 100 mètres et 600 mètres d’altitude, elle est considérée comme une lavande sauvage et se cultive à la toute fin du mois d’août.
Wild plant, come into flower from 100 to 600 meters high, harvest in August.
Lavandin
Ce genre de lavande est l’hybridation entre la lavande fine et la lavande aspic. Ce phénomène a vu le jour grâce à nos chères abeilles !
